What is Smart security?
Whether it’s CCTV, alarms or door security, Smart security is designed with the user in mind, with full control to manage, customise and monitor your system anytime, anywhere, via your mobile smart phone or tablet.
Below is a simplified breakdown of various Smart options for your home security.
Entrance Door Options
• Digital door viewer – long gone are the days of an awkward fish-eye lenses with poor visual quality. The modern equivalent has a digital viewer with 4” LCD screen with night mode function to get the best images day or night. The door viewer can also capture still images so you know exactly who has been at your property while you’ve been away. Images are time and date stamped and saved to internal memory or SD card to keep track visitors and what time. Also has integrated doorbell.
• Wooden door – Night latch (Yale style) – The Yale keyless Smart lock is compatible with most 60mm backset night latches. It’s great option for a wooden doors if you want to remove the hassle of using keys and become totally “key free”. It can be operated with either pin code, key card, key fob and even smartphone when connected to Yale Smart home system. The unit is battery operated and is equipped with an anti-tamper alarm.
• uPVC & Composite – These doors predominantly use multi point locking mechanisms that run the full length of the door. The Yale Conexis is the perfect solution, a direct replacement for the existing handles means a mess free installation, no need to drill more holes in the existing door. Also being a self contained battery operated unit there’s no untidy external wiring. Can be operated via key card, key fob and smartphone. The unit is also equipped with an anti-tamper alarm.
Smart CCTV
CCTV is a very effective deterrent and with the new era of Smart systems you have full control from your iPhone or iPad, it’s never been easier!

• Smartphone notification – You will be sent a notification if an event has been detected
